Quick Tip - Vacate Notices
It’s important that you understand the steps you need to take if you plan to vacate your rental property at the end of your lease.
* The end date of a fixed term lease does not mean that you can vacate the property without notice.
* You will need to give a minimum of 2 weeks notice that you are planning to leave – regardless of the lease end date.
* The Form 13 Notice of Intention to Leave is available on our website and also through the RTA website.
By ensuring that you have open communication with your Property Manager about your plans to vacate will ensure the smoothest process for your vacate.
